Personal Training
A coach who knows your name.
Real programming from certified coaches at both clubs. For people who have never lifted, people coming back, and people who have been stuck at the same number for a year.
How it works
Three steps, no hard sell.
Nobody is going to corner you about a package on your first day. Here is what actually happens.
-
Start with a conversation
Your first session is an assessment, not a workout you have to survive. We talk through your history, any injuries, what you want out of this, and how many days a week is actually realistic.
-
Get a program, not a guess
Your coach writes a plan with specific lifts, sets, loads and progressions. You know what you are doing before you walk in, and why each piece is there.
-
Adjust as you go
Programs get reviewed as you progress. When a lift stalls or life gets busy, the plan changes to fit. That is the entire point of paying a person instead of downloading an app.
Who it's for
Every level, genuinely.
"All levels welcome" is on every gym's website. Here is what that actually looks like in practice.
Brand new to the gym
You have never touched a barbell and the weight room is intimidating. We start with movement, not max effort, and nobody is watching you.
Back after time off
You used to train and life got in the way. We rebuild the base without pretending you are where you were five years ago.
Stuck at a number
You have trained for years and the bar has not moved. A coach who can see your setup fixes things a video cannot.
Training around something
A bad shoulder, a replaced knee, a doctor who said to start lifting. We program around it instead of ignoring it.
1:1
Single sessions
Start with one and see how it goes. No package required to book.
The coaches
On staff at both clubs.
Certified coaches work the floor at North and at West. The roster moves with the schedule, so we do not publish a headshot grid that goes stale. Call the desk or write us with your hours and your club. They will match you with someone who is actually there.
Questions
Before you book.
Do I need a membership to train with a coach?
Yes, Personal Training is for members. Training is priced separately from your membership, so you can start with a single session to meet a coach and see whether it is a fit before committing to a package.
How much does Personal Training cost?
Rates depend on session length and how many you buy at once, and they change from time to time. Call the front desk at (513) 909-BFIT or ask any coach for current pricing. We will not quote you a number online that might be out of date when you get here.
Are trainers available at both clubs?
Yes. Both North Cincinnati and West Cincinnati have certified coaches on staff. Availability varies by time of day, so it is worth calling ahead to get matched with someone whose schedule lines up with yours.
What if I have an injury or a medical condition?
Tell your coach in the first session. We regularly program around shoulder and knee issues, back problems and post-rehab returns. If something is outside what we should handle, we will say so and suggest you check with your physician or physical therapist first.
Can I train with a partner?
Yes. Partner sessions are available and work out cheaper per person than training alone. Ask at the front desk about pairing up.
