Privacy Policy

Bee Fit Health Club LLC ("Bee Fit", "we", "us") operates two health clubs in Cincinnati, Ohio — North Cincinnati and West Cincinnati — and the website at www.joinbeefit.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

It covers www.joinbeefit.com, messages you send us, and information we hold as your gym. Joining, billing, class booking and the Bee Fit app run on Club Automation, a Daxko product. That platform has its own privacy policy and mobile app terms. Where those differ from this page on portal or app data, theirs apply to that system.

Information you give us

On this website

The contact form collects your name and email, and optionally your phone number, preferred club, topic and message. That submission is sent to the inbox for the club you picked — or to our fallback inbox if you do not pick one — using Resend. We use the message to reply to you.

When you join or buy a Day Pass

Checkout happens on Club Automation, not on www.joinbeefit.com. Information you enter there — name, address, date of birth, emergency contact, payment details and similar account data — is collected by that platform for us and stored in our member records. A membership is set up at one club. Your keyfob and app login open that club.

In the clubs and in the app

• Check-in records tied to your keyfob, member ID or the app.
• Information you give staff, such as a fitness assessment, injury note or health history for personal training.
• Class bookings, freezes, cancellations and billing activity in the member portal or the Bee Fit app.
• Video surveillance. Both clubs are monitored by CCTV for member and staff safety. Footage is kept on a rolling basis and reviewed only if something happens.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Cloudflare, our host, records standard request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for security and abuse prevention.
• Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile looks at browser signals. It is not an advertising tracker.
• Club preference. If you switch North / West on a pricing page, we store that choice in your browser's local storage so the next page can open on the same club. It is not used to identify you across the web. You can clear it with your browser data.
• Security cookies. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie as part of hosting and bot protection. This site does not set its own advertising or analytics cookies.
• Embedded maps. Club pages can load a Google Maps embed. Google may collect data under Google's privacy policy. The street address is also in text, with a plain directions link.

What we do not do

www.joinbeefit.com does not run advertising pixels, does not build advertising profiles, and does not sell or rent personal information. We do not use analytics cookies that follow you to other sites.

How we use your information

• To answer questions and the messages you send us.
• To provide and administer a membership or Day Pass, including billing, door access and class booking.
• To send service messages about your account, your club, schedule changes or closures. Those may come from us or from Club Automation.
• To send club news or promotional email. Those emails include an unsubscribe link.
• To keep our clubs, members, staff and systems safe, and to comply with the law.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who need it to do their job for us, and only for that purpose:

• Club Automation (Daxko) — membership, billing, class booking, door access and the Bee Fit app.
• Payment processors used by that platform, to take and store payment credentials. We do not store full card or bank numbers on our own systems.
• Cloudflare — website hosting, delivery and bot protection.
• Resend — email delivery for contact-form submissions.
• Apple and Google — if you download the Bee Fit app from their stores. Their store policies apply to that download.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Bee Fit, our members or the public.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Membership and billing records are kept while you are a member and then as long as accounting, tax and legal rules require. Surveillance footage is overwritten on a rolling schedule unless it has been saved for an incident.

Your choices and rights

• Access and correction. Most account details can be updated in the member portal or the app. Or ask the front desk and we will help.
• Marketing. Unsubscribe from any marketing email, or tell the front desk to take you off the list.
• Deletion. You can ask us to delete personal information we are not required to keep. Write us at the addresses below, or use Request delete account in the Bee Fit app (Profile, then Settings) if your app version includes it. That request still comes to the club.

We are an Ohio business. If you live in a state that gives you extra privacy rights, write us and we will handle the request under the law that applies to you.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. Members 18 and over can join on their own. Members aged 13 to 17 join in club with a parent or legal guardian present to sign. Some equipment and hours are restricted for younger members.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are sent encrypted. Club Automation and its payment processors run their own security programs for the payment data they hold. No system is perfectly secure. We take reasonable measures to protect what we hold. If a breach of personal information we hold requires notice under Ohio law, we will notify affected people as the law requires.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top will change with it. Material changes that affect members will be communicated to members directly.
